Entry Requirements
If you live in any of the following areas – Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton then there is no additional requirement. However, if you reside outside of these areas, you could still apply but we need evidence to prove that you work within the areas.
Pre Requisites
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Qualification or Equivalent* (Contact the centre for further guidance)
- Level 3 Award in the initial Verification and certification of Electrical installations
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 (Current Edition)
- Code of Practice for Electrical Energy Storage Systems, 2nd Edition
- Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation, 5th Edition
- Code of Practice for Grid-connected Solar Photovoltaic System, 2nd Edition
